Max Lamb at the HSBC central office at 78 St James' St, London, casting part of the building to create his commission for the London Design Festival installation at the V&A. Inspired by the museum's famous Cast Court collection, Lamb proposes to create a cast replica of part of the building, which he will then hand carve using a hammer and chisel into the shape of a bench, creating a place for people visiting the museum to sit and connect with each other.www.maxlamb.org Photography by Santiago Posada
