Runner Beans Are Growing Fast

Image above by Sara Midda from the book - In and Out the Garden.

Growing excited at the growth of our runner beans, at the bottom of the garden. Although a quiet afternoon so decided to visit the V&A shop to browse gardening and DIY. Should keep me trendy and up with the neighbours while in the garden!

Bombay Sapphire cocktails in designer cardboard Martini glasses anyone?

Designer in Resident Giles Miller has been commissioned by exclusive drinks brand Bombay Sapphire to create a batch of pulp Martini glasses for a late night event at the V&A next month. Think drinks party with a twist at the V&A Summer party where Giles will also design a ‘log cabin-esque’ cardboard encased bar from which the Bombay Sapphire cocktails will be served. Hopefully see you there on 30 July, Friday Late: V&A Summer Camp.

Breathtaking Photographs Appearing in Brighton

What a lovely surprise when taking a wonder along Brighton seafront when we came across giraffe’s, penguins and swimming elephants. I could only describe the photographs as magical, capturing a glimpse of life through a camera in seconds, which might have taken months of patience and persistence by the photographer. We salute you, as these images are truly stunning and creative.

The touring Natural History Museum shop is in the middle of the billboards near the pier and well worth a visit. I was lucky enough to be given the Wild Planet book that day as a birthday gift so we looked through the book on the way home from Brighton; a perfect ending was seeing the Pelican looking at me while I looked at him.
